If high-quality carbon steel pipes are used, the temperature application range and relaxation can reach -40 to 450 degrees Celsius. The experimental pressure of the steel pipe is generally 1.5 times the nominal pressure. When the temperature of the conveying material does not exceed 200 degrees Celsius, the working pressure is the nominal pressure. When the temperature exceeds 200 degrees, the working pressure should be correspondingly lower than the nominal pressure.
API 5L line pipes must use certain links to form a complete system. There are three types of pipe connection: wire, welding and flange connection. The pressure is not high and the pipe diameter is not large. The wire connection method can be used to connect the pipe. This connection method is more convenient, but because most of the main oil pipeline diameter is generally large, the other two connection methods are used. The pipes with DN Greater than or equal to 50 are basically connected by welding, which has the advantages of convenient construction, firm, tight and steel saving. Generally, the parts that do not need to be disassembled on straight pipes or bends can be used. The connection of pipe and valve or other equipment (such as: pump) and the place where the pipe needs to be disassembled are connected by flanges.
